Crazy places people hide money →
A potentially useful article, but I don’t think these are “crazy” places, just some you might not think to look in. I am now going to look in every tampax box I find.

Natural Pest Control →
Just found this list of pest control articles. The weather is getting cooler here and bugs are starting to find their way into the warmer house, so I think this is a worthwhile list to check out. It’s been a decent bug season here, I sprayed diatomaceous earth around the house and it seams to have helped some, but some pesky gnats are lingering around, so I hope there is a good article for...

Plastiki - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia →
Sorry to say I only just heard of the Plastiki Voyage. This looked like a great project. 12500 plastic bottles used to make a boat to sail from San Francisco to Sydney Australia. This remids me of the guy who made his own island from recycled bottles. UPDATE: I found a more recent video of the Spiral Island guy at discovery.com. LINKED HERE

America's Best 24-Hour Hot Spots →
I like 24hour places and I miss my favorite 24hour Diner that got turned into a sports bar. I miss their giant themed omlets. Like “The Greek”(gyro meat, feta cheese and tomato), “The God Father” (spicy italian sausage with peppers and onion) The owner was an A-Hole and the place began to fall apart and it started to smell like a toilet, so I can see why they are gone. But...

The Candwich - An inspiring story of chasing ones... →
I wanted to find out where I could find these to sample them, so I went internet hunting and I found a website(not a very good one) I kept looking and found an interesting article. Candwich: Quick, Tasty, and Grounds for a Lawsuit? If the article above is correct, this entrepreneur swindled many investors out of almost $150 Million dollars to help fund his passion for stuffing sandwiches...

Native Hawaiian government may become reality -... →
Can we say 49 States? Not sure how many people know this but, Hawaii never was and still is not an official United State, as the overthrow of the original kingdom was perpetrated by sugar plantation owners not the US Government.

Google gets Buzzed with a class action lawsuit |... →
I used to like google much more than I do now. They are starting to look like a bloated fish that is eating up far more than it’s fair share. I still like all the free services and software they provide, they offer a great source of development tools. But what I don’t like, is the overwhelming impact they have globally. Their rather “Bullish” approach to handling China...

Michigan Students Reprimanded for Shirts Mocking... →
Do you see dolphins or 2 people in a loving embrace? I had just read the article about the shirts that appear to have some 911 reference. When I saw it I thought it looked more like a rally against the attacks, with the “YOU CAN’T BRING US DOWN!” slogan. But when I found out that it was Eleven Arab-American boys from graduating class of 2011, I was like “oh no you...

A site called BeutifulPeople Booted some of it’s members for gaining weignt over the holidays “Over 5,000 were rejected.” The site’s founder is remorseful—“As a business, we mourn the loss of any member”—but not really. “Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded.” Take that, chubbies.” ...

SwarmSketch : an interesting social experiment... →
I think most of the drawings suck pretty bad, but this is the first one that I thought was halfway decent among the lot, but still doesn’t say much for the collective efforts. I personally think they need to add the option to pick a color and next allow more than 100-pixel-long lines. If you like this concept, I would suggest visiting DrawBall.com it’s similar, but far more advanced.

Love me if you Dare
I saw some music on YouTube that was said to be from this movie, I don’t really have the time to watch it now, but thought I’d add it here so I can come back later. It’s a french film with English subtitles so if that puts anyone off probably should ignore this one. Here is a description from IMDB “As adults, best friends Julien and Sophie continue the odd game they...
